本會以推動智慧財產之法律與管理之相關教育、學術研究、人才培育為宗旨，依有關法令規定辦理下列與智慧財產創造、保護、管理與運用等相關業務：
一、智慧財產教學：智慧財產理論與實務理念之宣導及培訓、人才培育、各式研討會、論壇之舉辦等。
二、智慧財產研究：研究計畫之執行及學術出版。
三、智慧財產服務：產官學研智慧財產相關問題之專業諮詢、國內外非營利組織之交流、獎學金提供、促進國內智慧財產學術研究與教育環境之發展。
四、智慧財產相關之兩岸及國際合作與交流。
五、其他符合本會設立宗旨之相關公益性教育事務。

CIPF aims to facilitate education, academic research, and professional development concerning intellectual property law and management. Our work includes:
1. Education: promotion of intellectual property theory and practice, talent cultivation, organizing symposia and forums.
2. Research: research projects and academic publications.
3. Professional services: professional consultation, international collaboration of non-profit organizations, scholarship.
4. International and cross-strait collaborations and exchanges.
5. Other public affairs relevant to intellectual property law and management.
